At John Green & Associates, we pride ourselves on our extensive experience in wedding management and coordination. Our team of professional Toastmasters and Masters of Ceremonies can provide a smart, visible presence and classic sense of occasion at all events.
We can help with planning and speech writing, and are experts in wedding etiquette. We'll greet your guests and then act as a ‘behind the scenes trouble shooter’, discreetly dealing with unforeseen problems as they arise; Irate chefs, late bands, stranded guests, tying bow ties, arguing in-laws, heavy downpours – you can’t plan for everything, and you don’t need to – that’s our job.
We're also experts in event management and can provide Toastmaster / Master of Ceremonies at: corporate dinners, dinner dances, civic luncheons, banquets, festivals, birthdays, anniversaries, awards ceremonies, conferences, sports club annual dinners and official openings / product launches.

John provided a fantastic touch of class to our wedding; polite, helpful and extremely professional. Everyone commented on the difference he made. Thank you John for making our day magical and special

We thought we had everything planned but the day was so beautiful we decided to walk from the church to the reception. We really didn't think what this would do to our timings; panicking photographer, worried caterers, mis-timed entertainment. We didn't know any of this until afterwards - Pete just reorganised everything and nobody knew any different. He was a star.

Olly, we want to express our gratitude for your participation in our wedding and for making our special day even more memorable with your amazing talent for ensuring that the event ran so smoothly. We truly appreciate your help in creating an unforgettable experience.

I don't mind admitting I was really worried about my speech. The time you spent helping me, and your encouraging words, meant that I was really able to just enjoy my wedding day. Thank you. Darren

John was the MC at our corporate dinner. He was so professional and ensured everything ran to time. His preparation was thorough and he had wit and charm as he introduced our key note speakers. It really brought a sense of gravitas to our evening.

Olly was absolutely superb. Not only did he keep an eye on our schedule, he arranged last minute taxis and even crossed the estuary on a ferry to bring umbrellas to the bride and groom who were caught in a torrential down pour during the photo shoot. He was an indispensable part of our special day.
John has been a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies since 2015 having been trained, and tutored, by the Cornwall Guild of Toastmasters. He has since been involved in over 100 weddings and functions, ranging from events with 400 guests in three marquees to more intimate settings with less than 40 guests. He has worked in historical forts, open barns and gazebos plus traditional hotel settings. Regardless of the venue, numbers, or budget, John delivers the same level of service focussing on attention to fine detail, plus practical advice and guidance. His good humour and interpersonal skills, honed over many years of public service, has allowed him to earn an outstanding reputation.
Olly spent 30 years in uniform in a variety of Policing roles, all of them front line, including patrol, neighbourhood and specialist operations. During his career he provided advice to commanders for numerous local and national operations. Olly has an eye for detail and is able to manage rapidly changing events, where spotting things early, re-planning and liaising with others are crucial to the delivery of a successful event. Olly was awarded the Queens Police Medal (QPM) in the 2014 New Years Honours List for distinguished and exceptional service. He was presented with this prestigious award by the late Queen herself in 2015.
Peter started his working career in retail and industry before being commissioned into the Armed Forces in 1984. He served for 18 years in a specialised combat infantry Corps and spent time operationally in a number of locations throughout the world. He retired as a Wing Commander. Whilst serving he was awarded an RAF Commendation, a personal Queen’s Commendation and was appointed as an MBE in 2002. After leaving the service he was self-employed for 7 years, then served as a Director of an NHS Trust before becoming the Chief Exec of a commercial healthcare business.
We cover Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset but can travel anywhere in the UK to support your event, dinner or wedding. Talk to us about how we can support your big day and let us take the stress out of managing it.
